Patrick is the biggest bonus ever that came from befriending Kenny in a Williams-Sonoma code launch chat room in 2010. First, there were work happy hours where Patrick would make an appearance. Then came "Cooking with Kenny & Lauren" -- semi-regular trips to the farmer's market to find inspo for afternoon cooking sessions, of which Patrick reaped the benefits (polenta, lemon bars, cookies, gnocchi, stroganoff -- just to name a few). Giants playoff games, the Casa de Fruta Renaissance Fair with giant turkey legs, tagging along off and on during outside lands. Patrick and I bonded over medicine - his research, my medical conditions, then his, unfortunately. But we bro'd over the science and the drugs. My doodle Pearl, then Mabel. MUSIC - hours of Patrick's killer playlists and watching music videos. Scissor Sisters "let's have a Kiki" will always remind me of YOU!
