Patrick died this morning. His parents and I were with him when he passed away.

Please continue to share your thoughts, memories, and stories on this site.

Patrick was so beloved by so many of you, and so many more - please share this note with whoever needs to know.

There was no one I know who lived his life with such a gentle, curious, and infectious joy, and a deep love for all the people in it.

We will let you all know when a celebration of Patrick's life will be held, in person and online for those who can't travel.

Patrick's life was a spectacular event - if nothing else, be endlessly thankful that he invited each one of us to enjoy it with him.
