Patrick, I looked for all the pictures I could find that you were in. My favorite is the first one. Hope they're not too embarrassing for you. Thanks for being such a great friend from Day 1, which was the summer before you started your freshman year at Piedmont Hills, when I first met you and Tony playing tennis at Cataldi Park. And even when you moved to Cameron Park, we were still able to hang out, especially in the summer, when we'd drive the 4-Runner along Bass Lake Road or go bowling in that hole-in-the-wall bowling alley in Pollock Pines. And thanks for letting me crash at your apartment on the weekends, when you were going to UCLA and before I had my car, I'd take the free UCR <-> UCLA Library Bus on Fridays and Mondays to get there and back. Even though we don't have any recent pics, I'm very glad we've been able to keep in touch all these years! Take care, brother!
Piedmont Hills High School Tennis Managers Team Photo - Oct 1989.
Somehow, Coach Azama thought it would be okay for us scrubs to help her manage the Girls Tennis team. This consisted of feeding tennis balls, picking up tennis balls, fetching tennis balls hit out of the court, setting up scoreboards, and other menial tasks. Anyway, they won MHAL that year. You're welcome, ladies! Hahaha!!! P.S. Patrick refused to conform to the planned outfits and chose to wear his Maui and Sons t-shirt, because he was (and still is) 😎 like that.

PHHS Tennis Managers Team Photo - Oct 1990
Pleased with our success, Coach Azama allowed us to continue being tennis managers which enabled the Girls team to win MHAL... again! P.S. And again, Patrick refused to conform to the planned white t-shirt/faded denim tennis shorts look and opted to wear his own trendy euro fashion with a reverse color scheme. 🦄

Dinner before Junior Prom (when Patrick was a Sophomore) - April 1990
The group picture is ripped because Helen, Patrick's date, didn't like how she looked in the picture, so she tore off that part off, then gave me the photo to keep. We had dinner at that top floor restaurant in the Pruneyard that closed a long time ago. She liked their couples picture a lot better, so I'm sharing that as well.

Lake Tahoe - Winter 1994-ish
We took this with my disposable camera. You guys also insisted I put 1 ski on each side of the ski rack. Howie also took the camera and wasted a whole bunch of shots by taking pictures of a trash can at the gas station, thinking it would turn out like some kind of abstract, artistic masterpiece, but ended up being "garbage" in every sense of the word. 🗑️ 💩 :(

Erik's Wedding in SF - Sept 1997
Thanks for letting us (me, Helen, Howie, Pam, and Adrienne) crash your brother's wedding. 🥂 I couldn't remember the name of the venue, which was awesome, but it had something to do with the military.

Dolores Park Tennis Courts - July 2001
At the time, I think you were going to grad school in SF, and I was still forcing you to play tennis with me. 🎾⚗️

Nola's Palo Alto - Sept 2009
PHHS Tennis Team reunion. Not sure how we were all able to get together, but we all seem pretty happy about it. 😀😀😀😀😀
